Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the quick response of seating detection by building mechanical valves into a limiter operating on back pressure, enabling the detection of sating at a plurality of positions on the basis of air pressure from the same source as blowing air via the mechanical valves and providing the limiter on a rotating jig proper. CONSTITUTION:When seating is detected, air from an air feed device 11 is supplied to the air inlet 6 of a seating sensor unit 5 via a single air feed passage 13 communicating a fixed port 1 to a jig proper 3. And the air is blown under high pressure concurrently from air blow outlets 4 via air passages 9 and air blow passages. When a workpiece W nears each air blow outlet 4, part of the blow air turns into back pressure and returns to each passage 9. If the back pressure is equal to or above the predetermined value, or the workpiece W is seated, each mechanical valve 19 within the seating sensor unit 5 is changed over to open detecting air passages 10 from the air inlet 6. For the passages 10, each mechanical valve 19 is connected in series. When one seating sensing point 10 is not seated, a seating sensing means 15 immediately detects improper seating.
