Abstract

PURPOSE: To make an accurate control of gaseous flow rate by providing selective range of control current through those processes of classifying various sorts of gas into several groups such as liquefied petorleum gas, natural gas, productive gas or the like, and assigning each set of valve and valve seat, in common to those gases clossified in the same group.
CONSTITUTION: When the water temperature detected by means of detector 11 is below a predetermined value, the control current is output in accordance with the difference between the predetermined value and detected value so as to increase the gaseous flow rate from a regulator 6, then solenoid coil 15 is energized and a plunger 21 is absorbed into the coil 15 and the value 14 is shifted to the position where suction may balance with the repulsive forces of a spring 34, while expanding the gap to the valve seat 13 and increasing gaseous flow rate. As the water temperature is raised and the difference from the predetermined value is decreased, the control current is minimized, the valve body 14 being shifted to the position until it is balanced with the suction of solenoid 15, and the gap to the valve seat 13 is reduced. The range of control current is changed by switching device 9.
