Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the startability of an engine by controlling the engine so as to start electrification for all the ignition coils synchronizing with the initial detection signal output from a crank angle detecting means, in case of the engine being placed in a starting operation condition. CONSTITUTION:An ignition device provides a crank angle detecting means A outputting a detection signal in a reference crank position, cylinder discriminating signal output means B and a detection signal cylinder specifying means C specifying the above described detection signal to each cylinder while an electrification start-interruption timing setting means D and electrification start and its interruption control means E, F starting and interrupting the electrification to an ignition coil in a specified cylinder being based on an output signal of the setting means D. Further providing an engine start condition detecting means G, when a start condition is detected, a simultaneous electrification start control means H, prior to the electrification start control means E, controls an engine so as to start the electrification to all the ignition coils synchronizing with the initial detection signal output from the crank angle detecting means A.
