Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a throttle valve actuator by adding the damping processing into the shift operation to an aimed opening degree of a throttle valve within a prescribed range, when the throttle valve is controlled on the basis of each state of an accelerator and the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 10 outputs an aimed opening degree signal for a throttle valve on the basis of each input signal of an acceleration sensor 1 and a throttle sensor 6, and drives a throttle valve shaft 15 through an actuator 13, and allows the opening degree of the throttle valve 14 to coincide with the aimed opening degree. In this case, setting the throttle valve opening degree position immediately before the idle opening degree as starting point, the damping processing is added into the shift operation to the aimed opening degree of the throttle valve, during the interval from said starting point to the idle opening degree position. Said damping processing is set to a curved form or other forms. Further, the throttle opening degree position as starting point is set within a range which is obtained by adding 1 deg.-8 deg. onto the idle opening degree position.
