Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity by forming a sleeve without being followed by expansion of the diameter of a corrugated pipe and shortening a molding period of time, by a method wherein facial contact between an end part of the corrugated pipe and a protruding surface provided on a circumferential wall of an opening part of a cylinder is performed and hot fushion of the osculating face is performed by turning a cylinder at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:An end part 21 of a corrugated pipe 1 is inserted into a cylinder 2 and the end part 21 of the corrugated pipe 1 is brought into contact with an inner wall of a part projected within the said cylinder 2, that is, a protruding surface 5. The cylinder 2 is turned at a high speed centering around the center axis C-C as per an arrow R under this state. With this construction, contact rolling of the end part 21 of the corrugated pipe and the protruding surface 5 of the said cylinder is performed, only a position close by an osculating surface of both is melted through frictional heat to be generated at that time, fused thermally and the end part 21 of the corrugated pipe and the protruding surface 5 are integrated by eliminating a boundary line between them. As a form of the end part of the corrugated pipe and contacting pressure between the said end part and the protruding surface of the cylinder other than a rotary speed are related to a hot fusion period of time, accuracy of them is kept improved by uniforming forms of contacting part of both of them as even as possible.
