Abstract

PURPOSE:To draw a pipe without rupturing by preventing clamping of a core while force-expanding the inside diameter of the pipe in the state that the temp. is still sufficiently high right after freezing and is low in strength by means of the revolving core of a special shape. CONSTITUTION:A core 1 is constituted of a driving part including a driving shaft 1a revolving around the centerline AA and a disc part 1b having a radius (a) and a sleeve part 2 fitting to this. Although the centerline AA and the centerline B of the part 1b are parallel, the slightly differ in position. Now, if melt is poured between a core sleeve 2 and an outside mold 3, the outside circumferential part of the sleeve 2 corresponding to the contact part thereof force expands the inside surface of a pipe 4 to the outside mold 3 direction. However, the position where the circumferential surface of the sleeve 2 contacts the inside surface of the pipe 4 changes momentarily along with the revolution of the core 1 even with respect to the sleeve 2, hence the pipe 4 does not clamp the sleeve 2, and this makes it possible to prevent friction, galling, etc. and to continuously draw the pipe.
