CONSTITUTION:In combining stabilizing material on ceramic superconductive matter consisting of a single continuous wire or filament or its assembly or the like to form ceramic superconductive wire material, a nonreactive substance which is less liable to react with the stabilizing material and has a good wettability is coated on the superconductive material preliminarily. For the nonreactive substance, metallic substance such as Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, boride such as TiB2, ZrB2, VB2, NbB2, TaB2, CrB2, MoB2, WB2, carbide such as TiC, ZrC, HfC, VC, NbC, TaC, CrC, MoC, WC, or oxide such as MgO, CaO, Ce2O3, BeO, shall be used.
