Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately detect a pulsation waveform on a conductor without any power loss by providing a current transformer which has a resistor at an output terminal, a minimum voltage holder, and a differential amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The current transformer 5 is mounted on the conductor 1 and has the resistor 6 at the output terminal. Then the current transformer 5 generates a pulsating current induced with a pulsation flow on the conductor 1 and a pulsation voltage is developed across the resistance 6. This pulsation voltage is applied to one input terminal of the differential amplifier 7. Further, the minimum voltage holder 8 holds the lowest voltage among voltages outputted by the current transformer 5. The differential amplifier 7 receives the lowest voltage outputted by the minimum voltage holder 8 and the voltage outputted by the resistor 6 and amplifies them differential to output the pulsation waveform based upon the lowest voltage without any power loss.
