Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize position detecting accuracy with respect to temperature change by a simple constitution, by providing a resistor and a temperature sensitive resistor, which divide the voltage of a reference voltage source with the resistances. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus in constituted with the following parts: a resistor 2 and a temperature sensitive resistor 3, which divide the voltage of a reference voltage source; a magnetoresistance effect element 4, which detect a position based on the change in magnetic field; a resistor 5, which is connected to the element 4; and an operation amplifier 6, which receives the voltage-divided potentials of the resistors 2 and 3 (or the element 4 and the resistor 5) as positive (or negative) inputs and imparts an output current to the element 4 and the resistor 5. Thus, the electric resistance of the resistor 3 is increased (or decreased) by the increase( or decrease) in temperature. The positive input potential of the amplifier 6 is increased (or decreased) by about (-)1,000ppm/ deg.C. Therefore, the current flowing through the element 4 is increased (or decreased) by about (-)1,000ppm/ deg.C. Thus, the temperature change in the output of the element 4 can be offset, and the position detection characterized by stable detecting accuracy can be performed.
