Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent leakage and plan the improvement of safety of work by performing attaching work of a motor part in the condition that downward tensile force is given on an impeller shaft. CONSTITUTION:A motor part 13 from which a small flange in the center part of a main flange 29 is removed is attached to a motor handling device 41 and lifted up to the middle position. After a tension bar 50 is passed through the hollow part of the motor part 13, a load cell 48, a turnbuckle 49 and a handle 51 are incorporated, and a screw part 52 is threadedly engaged and connected to the lower end of a stud bolt 27, and proper downward attracting force is given by the turnbuckle 49 on an impeller shaft 17 through the stud bolt 27. The motor part 13 is lifted by a rotating drive 43 and inserted in a pump casing 25. Therefore, since a sealing condition between the lower collar end of the impeller shaft 17 and the upper end of a stretch tube can be maintained, leakage can be prevented and the safety of work can be heightened.
