Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate a transfer paper curl to be produced at the time of heating and fixing by forming one side of a curl removal roller pair into a large diametral roller of low hardness and the other side into a small diametral roller of high hardness, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a roller 35 is pressed to a roller 34, a roll part of this roller 34 is deformed after an external form of the roller 35 because it is constituted of a soft material, whereby the roller 35 is a little bitten into the roller 34, and both these rollers 34 and 35 form a convex surface state upside each. And, a sheet of transfer paper P1 is advanced upward at a slant along a transfer-paper-on guide plate 43 and a transfer-paper-down guide plate 44 and reached to a transfer paper curl eliminator 40. Here the transfer paper P1 is held of its tip part between both rollers 34 and 35, and it receives a projected state of straightening force upside by a projected nip upon being formed by the roller pair. And, it is discharged to the outside of a machine by paired paper discharge rollers 36, 37.
