Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate a curl to be produced at the time of heating and fixing by setting an angle made between a common normal, connecting an interval between respective turning centers of both small and large diametral rollers, and a transfer paper guide plate to be less than 90 degrees. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper P1 is advanced forward along a transfer-paper-on guide plate 43 and a transfer-paper-down guide plate 44 and reached to an intermediate roller pair. Here the transfer paper P1 is held of its tip part between an intermediate-small-diametral-on roller 34 and an intermediate-large- diametral-down roller 35. And, an angle to be made up by a transfer paper pass depending upon the transfer-paper-down guide plate 44 and a common normal passing through between respective centers of the intermediate roller pair is constituted so as to become less than 90 degrees whereby the transfer paper receives curl straightening force recessedly acting upside and it also receives a recessed state of straightening force upside by a recessed nip upon being formed by the intermediate roller pair.
