Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten a curing time to the min. extent by continuing to cool a sprue part to the degrees that a molten metal is not solidified while until the directional solidification of a product part is completed and rapidly cooling thereafter. CONSTITUTION:When the molten metal of the inner part is fed into a cavity 6 via a stoke 2, feeder 3 and subliner 4 by the pressure onto a crucible 1, the temp. of the subliner 4 starts to rise several seconds late from the start of the pressure and when the temp. of the subliner 4 becomes >= the temp. of a 1st set value SP1 before long, a normal closing valve 8 is opened by actuating a solenoid SOL by the output signal transmitted from a comparator 12 and the pressurized air fed from a pressurized air supply source 9 is fed to a nozzle 7 to cool the subliner 4. when a certain time lapses with maintaining the temp. of the subliner 4 about constantly, the directional solidification of the product part is completed. With this operation the subliner 4 is rapidly cooled, the molten metal of the sprue part of which pressurizing is already completed is solidified and the casting strength of this part is increased.
