Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectuate the separation of the inclusion in a molten metal with its floating by sucking up a molten metal into the air-tight container provided in a tundish and also discharging to the tundish after executing an electromagnetic agitation by an electromagnetic induction device. CONSTITUTION:A molten steel 4 is sucked in the airtight container communicating to a suction duct 28. The molten steel 4 is simultaneously agitated by the electromagnetic induction coil 30 provided on the side wall 9 of the airtight container 10. After treatment by the airtight container 10, the molten steel 4 is discharged to a tundish and then cast. With the composition like this, the inclusion in the molten steel is reduced and the quality of a product can be improved.
