PURPOSE:To eliminate a winding slippage by a method wherein two sheets of anode foil are arranged on a first separator, one sheet of cathode foil is arranged on a second separator, a capacitor element obtained by cutting the cathode foil and the separator at a gap part of the two sheets of anode foil is housed in a bottomed cylindrical case and an open end is sealed hermetically by an opening-sealing material. CONSTITUTION:High-purity aluminum foil is roughened electrochemically; after that, a dielectric oxide film is formed by anodic oxidation; two sheets of anode foil 7 are obtained by cutting the aluminum foil to about 2.5mm in width. Cathode foil 2 is obtained by cutting the high-purity aluminum foil to about 5.5mm in width. A separator 3 is cut to 6.6 mm in width. Two anode lead wires 9 are connected to the two sheets of anode foil 7; two cathode lead wires 10 are connected to one sheet of cathode foil 2; these are wound together with the separator 3; a capacitor element 8 is obtained. Then, the capacitor element is divided into two parts at a gap part between the two sheets of anode foil 7; each capacitor element is impregnated with an electrolyte; after that, the element is housed in a bottomed metal case; an open end is sealed by opening- sealing rubber; whereby a capacitor is completed.
