Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a normal reproducing signal, by correcting so as to increase a recording power corresponding to the isolation pit of an inputted recording signal. CONSTITUTION:A correction signal generating circuit 1 outputs the recording signal (c) delayed based on the recording signal (a) and a clock signal (b), and also, detects the isolation pit of, for example, one bit length, which starts after a constant non-recording section, and outputs it as a correction signal (d). The recording signal (c) is converted to a pulse current (e), and also, the correction signal (d) is converted to a correction current (f). And the pulse current (e), the correction current (f), and a bias current (g) are added at an adder circuit 9, respectively, thereby, a driving current value is corrected corresponding to the isolation pit, then, a pit with a correct size can be formed. As a result, it is possible to increase the amplitude of the reproducing signal at the time of reproduction, and to obtain the normal reproducing signal.
