Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain under-steering characteristics even at cornering and other steering operation and ensure good steering performance by arranging the front connection part of each connection between a wheel support body and a plurality of links at a position inner than the rear connection part from a body side. CONSTITUTION:A rear suspension is equipped with a wheel support body 4 for so supporting a rear wheel 2 as to be freely rotatable, and each of front and rear suspension arms 14 and 16 as links for laterally connecting the wheel support body 4 to a vehicle body 1. And each link 14 and 16 is connected to the wheel support body 4 via each of elastic bushes 6 and 8 as connection parts at minimum two front and rear positions of the vehicle. In the aforesaid constitution, the front connection part 6 of each connection part 6 and 8 is positioned at the inner side of the rear connection part 8 on the body 1. According to the aforesaid construction, compliance steering can be easily and properly turned into under-steering characteristics at the time of cornering and other steering operation, thereby obtaining good steering performance.
