Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the space for arranging various links in the rear part of a vehicle by arranging upper and lower links respectively paired on right and left sides and a lateral link connected to the aforementioned links collectively in front of an axle housing. CONSTITUTION:The ends of left and right lower links 10L, 10R, respectively are rotatably mounted on the underside of a rear axle housing 4 at both ends of which left and right rear wheels 2L, 2R are attached. The end of left and right upper links 16L, 16R, respectively are rotatably mounted via left and right brackets 14L, 14R on the topside positions of the housing 4 located between a differential housing 6 and the brackets 8L, 8R. Both ends of a lateral link 38 are mounted respectively in the vicinity of one end of the upper link 16R and to a lateral member 24b of a subframe 24 near the other ends of the upper link 16L, respectively, via brackets 34, 36.
