Abstract

PURPOSE: To securely enable willy traveling and one-side wheel traveling by elevatably fitting a central wheel supporting frame fitted with a central wheel to the central part of a vehicle body to which a pair of right and left front wheels are fitted to the front end part of the vehicle body and a pair of right and left rear wheels are fitted to the rear end part thereof respectively, and also by providing a frame elevating mechanism for elevating the central wheel supporting frame. CONSTITUTION: When a central wheel 24 is lowered by driving a frame elevating mechanism 26 (not shown) by means of a radio-controller under such a state that the front wheels 13, 13 and a central wheel 24 are straight directed toward the front, the central wheel 24 is brought into contact with the ground approximately directly below the center of gravity of the vehicle body 12, so that the front wheels 13, 13 are floated upward and such a state is brought about that the willy traveling is enabled by the central wheel 24 and a pair of right and left rear wheels 14, 14. Even under this condition, if the front wheels 13, 13 are moved right and left by means of a servomotor 17 (not shown), the movement is transmitted to the central wheel 24 by means of a central wheel operating mechanism 34. Accordingly, a traveling toy 11 (not shown) can be steered by the cenral wheel 24 in the same way that the front wheels 13, 13 are in contact with the ground. By utilizing the centrifugal force during the turning under the willy traveling condition and the inertial force at the time of direction change from the straight forwarding, the traveling toy 11 can be shifted from the willy traveling to the one-side wheel traveling.
