Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the inclination of a vehicle body even when a center of gravity of a load is deviated by expansively supporting driving wheels located at a central portion of the vehicle body of a carrier vehicle and locating casters on front and rear sides of the driving wheels. CONSTITUTION:A pair of mounting portions 3 are provided at lateral opposite positions at a central portion on a lower surface of a vehicle body. A guide rod 2 is inserted into each mounting portion 3. A driving wheel 6 is mounted through a suspension 4 to a lower end of each guide rod 2. A spring 5 for expanding and contracting the driving wheel 6 is interposed between the mounting portion 3 and the suspension 4. A caster 8 is provided at a laterally central position of a front portion on the lower surface of the vehicle body, and a pair of casters 8' are provided at laterally opposite positions of a rear portion on the lower surface of the vehicle body. Thus, the vehicle body is stably supported by each caster during traveling, and the carrier vehicle can be reliably traveled by the driving wheels 6 even on a rough surface.
