Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep a rear wheel in a toe-in position at the time of braking and cornering by linking the back of a rear wheel support, located behind a linkage center of a training arm to a chassis, to the training arm with a leaf spring member. CONSTITUTION:Both sides 3a and 3b at the front end of training arm 1 are linked vertically free to a chassis 6 with axes 5a and 5b respectively. The front of a rear support 10, located at a rear side of the training arm 1, is linked horizontally free to the training arm 1 with a link member 9, the outward of which is sloped toward the chassis 6. The rear of the training arm 1 and the rear wheel support 10 are interlinked with a leaf spring member 11 to turn the training arm 1 around the axes 5a and 5b inwardly to the chassis 6 until it is shifted to a position A at the time of braking and cornering. Whereupon, the rear wheel support 10 is dragged backward, the link member 9 is turned backward, the rear wheel support 10 is shifted to a position C and a rear wheel 13 is set in a toe-in position E, which improves the driving stability of an automobile.
