Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the regenerative energy discharging device of a motor requiring no large capacity diodes, by using a power transistor ON/OFF-time detecting means. CONSTITUTION:By a converter K with bridge-connected rectifying elements K1-K6, AC voltage is converted to direct current. The direct current is converted to the AC voltage of desired frequency by the inverter I of PWM control or the like, and by its AC frequency, the rotational frequency of a motor M is controlled, and at the time of braking, current is reversed via a fly-wheel diode to charge a capacitor C2. Then, a smoothing capacitor C1 and diodes DR-DT are arranged in parallel with the respective converter-negative- side rectifying elements K1-K3, and in parallel with said capacitor C2, a resistor R2 via a power transistor(Tr)Q1 is set. The TrQ1 is controlled by a Tr ON/OFF- time detecting means R, and the capacitor C2 is intermittently discharged. Then, the same working as that of the regenerative energy discharging device of the motor M is performed.
