Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent variation in torque by providing a working fluid feeding source separately from a differential pump and supplying working fluid from the working fluid feeding source to a circulating oil passage. CONSTITUTION:An oil pump 25 is provided separately from a vane pump 10 in a power transmission midway in an oil passage 24 and one end of the pump 25 is connected to an oil passage 20b while the other end is connected to an oil sump 21'. Also, a regulator valve 28 as a pressure regulating device is proved in the oil passage 24 between the connecting point with the oil passage 20b and the oil pump 25, while an orifice 22 is provided in a confluent oil passage 20c for connecting oil passages 20a and 20b to an oil sump 21. Thereby, working fluid which is leaked out of the rotation seal part, etc., of a rotor 12 due to the operation of the vane pump 10 is always supplied to circulating oil passages 17, 18 by means of the oil pump 25 to keep the suction pressure of the vane pump 10 to defined constant pressure. Accordingly, the mixture of air into the working fluid and the occurrence of cavitation do not take place, preventing variation in torque.
