Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a frequency temperature characteristic, by providing a voltage varying means utilizing the temperature characteristic of the voltage drop in a forward direction of a diode and whose output voltage changes with a temperature between a variable capacitive diode and the emitter of a transistor(TR). CONSTITUTION:The diode D1 as the voltage varying means is connected between one end of the variable capacitive diode 20 and the emitter of the TR. When the temperature rises, the voltage drop in the forward direction of the diode D1 is decreased, and a voltage to be impressed on one end of the variable capacitive diode 20 is decreased. When a frequency control voltage Vf is kept constant, an impressing voltage on the variable capacitive diode 20 is increased, and a capacity is reduced, thereby, an oscillatory frequency is raised, and the influence of an inductance 30 can be removed. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a VCXO with superior frequency temperature characteristic.
