Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit a constant quantity effluence of water by a method in which controlled flow of water from control ports of different heights is introduced into vortex valves inserted in series into an effluence tube. CONSTITUTION:A number of vortex valves 3A-3C are inserted in series into an effluence tube 20 downstream of the outlet of dam so that the main jet stream of the valve on the downstream side is formed by the output of the valve on the upstream side. Controlled flows from the valve 3A-3C are introduced through a flow rate controller from control ports 1A-1C of different heights above the outlet 10. A constant effluence system free of movable portion can thus be obtained even when the water level of dam is changed.
