Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent front and rear wheels in high speed travelling from a wrong operation of steering in the opposite phases by making pilot pressure for changing over a phase mode valve proportional to vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:A phase mode change-over valve VD has a spool 38 disposed slidably in a main body 37 while one end of the spool 38 is located adjacent a pilot chamber 35 and the other end adjacent a pilot chamber 36. In the pilot chamber 35 is disposed a spring 39 pressing the spool 38. The pilot chamber 35 is connected to the downstream side of an orifice 34 and the pilot chamber 36 to the upstream side of orifice 34. The upstream side port 40 of said valve VD is connected to the downstream side port 11 of a rear wheel controlling valve V2 and the upstream side port 41 to the downstream side port 12 of said valve V2. As vehicle speed is increased, the discharge of a pump P2 is increased so that differential pressure before and behind the orifice 34 is increased and the spool 38 is moved to change over said change-over valve VD to a same mode position.
