Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the setting area of the title device by providing an anaerobic treating part at the lower part of a waste water treating tank and an aerobic treating part at the lower part, and furnishing a filter medium part and a filtration part between both treating parts. CONSTITUTION:Raw water is introduced into the anaerobic treating part 43 at the lower part of the waste water treating tank 41 by a raw water supply pipe 69, and then introduced into the aerobic treating part 51 at the upper part of the treating tank 41 by a transfer pipe 73. Meanwhile, a part of the treated liq. from the aerobic treating part 51 is passed through the filter medium part 55 communicating with both treating parts 43 and 51, and circulated to the anaerobic treating part 51. Another part is passed through the filtration part 61 separated from the filter medium part 55 and the anaerobic treating part 51 by a partion wall 67, filtered, and then discharged to the outside of the tank 41 from a discharge pipe 81. The ammonia in the raw water is oxidized by the aerobes in the aerobic treating part 51 into nitric acid, and the formed nitric acid is reduced into gaseous nitrogen by anaerobes in the anaerobic treating part 43.
