Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the electron spin resonance of a large object of measurement by reducing the height of a loop coil and forming a ring-shaped resonator with a gap, and arranging coil surface of plural resonators opposite each other. CONSTITUTION:When a microwave of specific frequency is supplied to a loop 1 through a loop antenna 4, a microwave magnetic field is produced in the loop 1 and leaks out of the loop 1 to measure the electron spin resonance of the object 3 of measurement. Further, a microwave electric field leaking together with the microwave magnetic field is prevented from leaking the object of measurement with large dielectric loss by arranging a Faraday shield 7 between thin insulating plates 6 and 8 or arranging the coil surface of two resonators opposite each other and supplying electric power to them in phase, thereby suppressing a decrease in the Q value.
