Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce degree of contamination in a hydraulic fluid line by continuously monitoring the degree of contamination of hydraulic fluid and changing the volume of discharge of hydraulic fluid supply pumps based on the degree of contamination of its monitoring results and changing the flow of the hydraulic fluid passing through filters. CONSTITUTION:A sampling line 20 having a sampling pump 21, an orifice 22 and a particulate sensor 23 is provided at an oil tank 1 and the degree of contamination of hydraulic fluid is continuously measured by the particulate sensor 23. In case that the measured degree of contamination is over a regulation reference, a bypass valve 27 is opened to increase the discharge volume of pumps 4a, 4b and the flow of the fluid passing through line filters 6a, 6b is increased. The effect of removing the contamination in the line filters 6a, 6b is thereby improved so that the degree of contamination in the hydraulic fluid line can be reduced.
