Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a large drive power even from a small pump, by displacing a responding member through fluid pressure produced in the discharge side of a gear pump, and by driving a load with the use of the power.
CONSTITUTION: Chambers 5, 7 adapted to be charged with fluid, are formed in a casing 1 and are respectively connected with the inlet port 4 and the outlet port 6 of a gear pump 3 also disposed in the casing 1. Fluid in the chamber 5 is transferred into the chamber 7 under pressure by rotating the pump 3 in the direction indicated by arrows. Further, there is provided a communicating passage 10 for returning fluid from the chamber 7 to the chamber 5. A responding member 12 in the chamber 7 transmits a drive power or a stroke corresponding to fluid pressure, to a rod 14 attached to the center of the responding member 14 when an orifice 11 adjusts the flow rate of fluid through the passage.
