Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive a higher desensitizing effect used for a pressure sensitive copying paper, by incorporating a compound obtained by an addition reaction of a polyether amine derivative having a specified component structural formula and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or an alpha,beta-unsaturated nitrile derivative. CONSTITUTION:A desensitizing ink comprises as a main constituent a compound obtained by an addition reaction of a polyether amine derivative having a component structure I (wherein each of R<1> and R<2> is hydrogen or a 1-5C lower alkyl) and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or an alpha,beta-unsaturated nitrile derivative. Though the desensitizing ink has an excellent desensitizing effect on color developers based on a clay (e.g., acid lay, active clay or attapulgite) or a phenol-formaldehyde resin, the desensitizing ink has an effect of ensuring extremely little change with time (coloration) of desensitized printed areas, together with the excellent desensitizing effect, where a multivalent metal salt of a salicylic acid derivative or a multivalent metal salt of a salicylic acid co-condensation resin is used.
