Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive suppression or prevention of color formation of a coloring matter precursor, in a pressure sensitive copying paper comprising a combination of a colorless or light-colored coloring matter precursor with a color developer for developing the precursor into a color, by incorporating a polyether amine having a specified component structural formula. CONSTITUTION:A desensitizing ink comprises as a main constituent a polyether amine having a component structure I, wherein each of R<1> and R<2> is hydrogen or a 1-5C lower alkyl. The polyether amine compound having the component structure (I) can be easily obtained by conjugated addition of a polyether alcohol to an alpha,beta-unsaturated nitrile compound, followed by reducing the cyano group. The desensitizing ink can display a sufficient desensitizing effect on various fluoran, triallylmethane phthalide, pyridylphthalide, acylleucophenothiazine or laudamine anilinolactam compounds generally used widely as pressure sensitive coloring matters (coloring matter precursors) when it is applied to a color developer-coated surface (CF surface) and printing is conducted to obtain a build-up amount of at least 0.5g/cm<2>.
