Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure gas services with no obstruction by placing a device for detecting oil leak during lift-down of a fueling nozzle from a ceiling position to a middle height position. CONSTITUTION: A fueling nozzle 9 is set for resting at a ceiling position A, a middle position B and a fueling position C. A switch SW1 , which moves the nozzle 9 between ceiling position A and middle position B, is placed near a wall of a station house 2, whereas a switch SW2 for movement between the middle position B and the fueling position C is placed near the fueling nozzle 9. The output signal of switches SW1 , SW2 , the output signal of a nozzle position detector 10, and the output pulse signal of a flowrate pulse oscillator 21 are introduced into a controller 15, from which a control signals are delivered to an announciator 14, an indicator 13, a reel motor 8, and a pump motor 11. Thus the pump motor 11 is turned on to detect oil leak during lift-down of a fueling nozzle from a ceiling position to a middle height position. At this height, the operator cannot reach the fueling nozzle 9 and accordingly, opening of a nozzle valve and a false detection of oil leak by an erroneous operation can be prevented.
