Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect a leakage position and shut-off the line by a method wherein a number of piezoelectric sensors are arranged in a pipe line, and pressure data at each of the arranged positions are always compared with and analyzed at a supervising station.
CONSTITUTION: Piezoelectric sensors 14 (including a tele-meter transmitter) are arranged at the pipe line 1 with a specified interval. Pressure valve is transmitted to the supervising station from a piezoelectric sensor arranging position through a cable 5 and a wireless transmitter 6. The pressure value transmitted is transmitted to a telemeter receiver 8, a comparator 9 and analyzer 10, the signal showing abnormal value is displayed at an operation display panel 11, a pressure pump 16 is stopped through tele-control transmitter 12 and the receiver 14, then the blocking value 17 is closed. Manual opening and closing operations may also be provided.
