PURPOSE:To manufacture oxide superconductive linear matter having a high critical current density by specifying sintering and heat processing temperature of linear matter after drawing, and specifying a grain diameter of starting material before drawing. CONSTITUTION:In heat processing linear matter after drawing, sintering conditions are set to be temperatures of 800-920 deg.C in open air or O2 and time of 3min-120hours, and a heat process is applied following the sintering process at a temperature range of 300-600 deg.C in open air or O2 for 10min-240hours, so that oxygen is absorbed. And/or if the starting material is formed by baking, the average grain diameter of grains or pellets is set to be less than 5mum. And/or the average grain diameter after crushing is set to be less than 1mum.
