Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the input power factor, and also, to prevent a rush current at the time when a power source is turned on, by connecting a voltage adjusting part to an output side of a rectifier, and controlling a peak current of this voltage adjusting part. CONSTITUTION:A voltage adjusting part 5 is provided on an output side of a rectifier 4, and a multiplying part 9 for obtaining AND of an error signal X of an output voltage VDC and a set value Vs, and an input voltage Vin of the rectifier is provided. Also, the titled converter is constituted of a peak current detecting part 10 for comparing an output of this multiplying part 9 and an output of the voltage adjusting part 5 and detecting a peak current, and an output part 12 for detecting a zero current of the voltage adjusting part 5 and setting it as a set signal, setting a peak current detecting signal as a reset signal R, and outputting an ON signal of the voltage adjusting part 5. That is, by multiplying an error signal and an input power source, a peak current set value of the voltage adjusting part synchronized with the input power source is obtained. When a current of the voltage adjusting part has reached this set value, the voltage adjusting part is set to OFF, and when the current has become zero, said part is controlled to ON. In such a way, since the input voltage fetches a current from the vicinity of zero, the power factor is improved, and a rush current at the time of restoration of power failure of the input voltage can be prevented.
