Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency by moving a housing means from an article feeding position for a feeding part to a position adjacent to the housing box separating position of a temporarily storing means at the time of replacing by a replacing means. CONSTITUTION:A stocker 24 houses plural pallets P each housing different parts (x), which are drawn out onto a robot 12 in order through the lifting up/down of the stocker 24 to feed the parts (x) to an assembling stand 224. When the number of parts in a specified pallet P approaches zero, plural pallets which are temporarily stored in a stacked condition in a buffer 22 are lifted up/down, and a corresponding pallet is separated by means of separating claws 66, 68 and taken into the replacing mechanism of an elevator body 86 which is lifted up. Then, as the number of parts becomes zero, the stocker 24 is lifted up to a position adjacent to the elevator 86, its empty pallet is replaced with the pallet from the buffer 22,and the stocker 24 is lowered to an article feeding position. On the other hand, the elevator body 86 is also lowered to translocate the empty pallet to a discharging mechanism 76.
