Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The mold is made by mixing the binder with the fossilized shell powder forming the sandy layer having 10-400 mesh grain size or the material adding and blending >=7% the fossilized shell powder to the refractory powder of silica sand, chamotte, fused silica, zircon, etc. Next, the mold is burnt at >=760 deg.C. By such constitution, the collapsibility is improved and the workability is improved.
