Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide fried bread with filling, which has a feel of chewing as bread and can be ate hot from the oven, by closing the slice of bread while wrapping curry or other filling, crumbing and frying it in oil. CONSTITUTION: After suitable quantity of curry 1 as filling is put on the center of upper surface of bread 2 sliced into suitable thickness, the bread 2 is folded into two on a line A-A and an edge part 2b, edge parts 2b and 2c and an edge part 2d are overlapped. Next, three edges, namely, the peripheral edges 2b, 2c and 2d are pressed P and sealed. Then, a wet material 3 such as flour dissolved in broken eggs or water is stuck overall the surface of 'semi-product' manufactured through this method and further, the wet material 3 is smeared with bread crumbs 4'. Next, a non-completed article M covering its all the surface with the bread crumbs 4' is fried in oil 15 at a shop front as needed and a completed article is provided. Since coating 4 of this completed article shields the internal infiltration of oil, a soft feel of chewing of the bread 2 is not changed and the taste of curry 1 is not damaged at all, either.
