Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the electrolytic corrosion with a single electric power source by operating the collation electrode group and galvanic electrode group set along the buried pipes to be prevented from corrosion of plural structures such as an electric railway by the automatic constant-potential control power source incorporating a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:For example, in plural electric railways 2a-2c, the plural collation electrodes 4a-4c for detecting the voltage to ground of the buried pipe 1 are set along the buried pipe 1 approaching and crossing the railways 2 in the vicinity of the buried pipe 1. Plural galvanic electrodes 3a-3c for an external power source are simultaneously set around the periphery of each electrode group 4 in the state forming pairs with the group 4 in ratio of 1:1 or 1:n. The electrode groups 3 and 4 are connected to the automatic constant-potential control power source device 5. The detected potential by the electrode 4 is inputted to the microcomputer incorporated in the device 5, computed, and compared with the set potential. The value exhibiting a noble potential and the electrode 3 in its vicinity are selected, and a necessary corrosion protection current is applied to the position exhibiting the noble potential from the electrode 3.
