Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a good mixture formation of air and fuel and lower hydrocarbon emission value by setting a screw-shaped coil in the range of a fuel injection stream to be injected on the down-stream side of an injection opening in the fuel injection valve of an internal injection engine. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection valve 1 operates a valve needle 3 to be connected to an armature. A groove 38 is formed in the circumferential plane 37 of a sleeve 26 and within the groove 38, a seal 39 is received. Within the sleeve 26, a doubled coil 40 is disposed with a radial clearance in between. The diameter of the coil 40 is determined in such a manner as for the conical fuel stream jet from the injection opening 14 to come into direct collision with the primary turn of the coil 40. Thus, fuel, air, a mixture of fuel and air, etc., are formed and the hydrocarbon emission value can be lowered.
