CONSTITUTION:An air preheater 20 preheats a combustion air fed into a combustion chamber 14. A first air preheating part 21 for preheating the combustion air by means of heat exchange with a combustion exhaust gas discharged out of the combustion chamber 14 is provided on the periphery of a heat insulating block 13. A second air preheater 27 heats air fed from a blower 34 by means of heat exchange with an exhaust gas discharged out of the exhaust gas outlet of the first air preheating part 21 and, then, feeds the air into the air inlet of the first air preheating part 21. Thereby, the power of a blower can be reduced at the time of starting while eliminating an organic ingredient in an exhaust gas at the time of a steady operation.
