Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a driving AC signal for a flickerless satisfactory liquid crystal display device or the like by generating signal potentials having a normal polarity and an inverted polarity by a DA conversion circuit. CONSTITUTION: When digital signals are supplied from input terminals 11 to 1n to inverters 211 to 21n and a switch 5 and switches 221 to 22n are switched to the up/down sides by control signals of an odd/even field from a terminal 9, a suction current which has a maximum/minimum value in the black level and has a minimum/maximum value in the white level is generated by a current source 24. A voltage drop due to this current and a resistor 4 are subtracted from bias voltages V1 and V2 , and results are outputted to an output terminal 8 through a buffer 3. Consequently, a stable signal is obtained because signal potentials having a normal polarity and an inverted polarity are generated by the DA conversion circuit, and a flickerless satisfactory signal is generated.
