Abstract

PURPOSE:To intend to lighten a vane by manufacturing the vane through injection molding of wateratomized material powder having high speed tool steel for providing hollow portions connected to nonsliding surface. CONSTITUTION:Compound is made wateratomized material powder having high speed tool steel composition and a vane is formed through injection molding of the same. Hollow portions 11 are formed in a vane 1, and this formed body is heat-treated after heating and sintering in a vacuum. Therefore, abrasion loss of the vane can be reduced as compared with a solid vane and lightening can be achieved remarkably as compared with a customary method.
