Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate regulation of fuel pressure in respective injectors for direct injection and for an intake path by carrying out injection through the direct injection injector when the pressure in a combustion chamber near the direct injection injector is lowest in the intake stroke. CONSTITUTION:DI injector 9 for injecting fuel directly into an operation chamber 5 is arranged in the rotor housing 2 of a rotary piston engine 1. MI injector 14 for injecting fuel into a manifold is arranged in an intake path 10 communicated with an intake port 6 of a side housing 3. Respective injectors 9, 14 are communicated through same pressure regulator 15 and fuel pump 16 with a fuel tank 17. Respective injectors 9, 14 are controlled through a control unit 18 corresponding to the operating condition of the engine 1. Injection through DI injector 9 is carried out when the pressure in the operating chamber 5 is lowest in the intake stroke.
