Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten cycle time by making selection of outgoing object shelves from an outgoing shelf storing the oldest received goods of the same kind and from outgoing shelves storing received goods having the same lot as the oldest received goods, and controlling decision of a carrier operation schedule. CONSTITUTION:When outgoing goods are designated by a keyboard 5, a computer 4 selects outgoing object shelves according to a prescribed program from an outgoing shelf storing the oldest received goods and from outgoing shelves storing received goods having the same loot as the oldest received goods out of plural outgoing shelves storing the designated goods. Then an outgoing operation schedule of a stacker crane 2 is decided and the schedule includes a moving travel from the present position of the crane 2 to outgoing object shelves and from outgoing shelves to an outgoing exit, and the crane 2 is controlled via a control board 3 according to the schedule. This constitution enables cycle time to be shortened.
