Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a device and reduce a trouble by assembling a C-ring to a workpiece via the operation of a pusher head for lowering the C-ring along a guide jig capped on the workpiece and releasing the C-ring from the workpiece via the upward motion of the pusher head for hooking and retaining the guide jig. CONSTITUTION:A guide jig 37 is hooked and retained with a ball plunger 35 and an assembly head 300 moves downward. And a workpiece 52 is positioned with a center 33 and a pusher 34 moves downward, thereby pushing the guide jig 37 and submerging the ball plunger 35 for being capped with a workpiece 52. Then, the assembly head 30 rises and a C-ring 51 is supplied with a slider 22. And the assembly head 30 moves downward and the center 33 and the pusher 34 pass through the C-ring 51. A hook 26 collides with the pusher 34 and the expanded slider 22 returns to an original position. The C-ring, however, drops to the external surface of the guide jig 37. And a pusher cam 36 moves downward and pushes down the C-ring 51 along the guide jig 37. Furthermore, the pusher 34 rises, the pusher ram 36 pushes down the C-ring 51 for the assembly thereof and then the pusher ram 36 rises. The guide jig 37 is hooked and rises on the operation of the ball plunger 35, thereby being released from the workpiece 52.
