Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a fault on the secondary side of a potential transformer by a simple circuit by leading a zero-phase electric amount from the secondary and tertiary voltages of the transformer, and generating an output when a deviation is a predetermined value or more. CONSTITUTION:The secondary voltages VR, VS, BT of a potential transformer of a master/slave type connected to 3 phases are fed to a zero-phase electric amount leading circuit 24 to produce a zero-phase voltage V0. The tertiary voltages VR', VS', VT' of the same transformer are fed to another zero-phase electric amount leading circuit 25 to produce a zero-phase voltage V0'. These voltages V0, V0' are input to a deviation circuit 26 to detect a deviation (V0'-V0). If the value is larger than a predetermined value set to a level detector 27, an operation output signal is generated from a protective relay 17.
