Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the separation of an inverter from a load by applying an OFF signal to an interrupter when an electric current flowing through a filter condenser becomes higher than a set value and thus rapidly detecting an accident of the shortcircuit of the condenser. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a current transformer 9 for detecting an electric current flowing through the condenser 3 of the output waveform shaping filter of an inverter 1 and an overcurrent detector 10 for producing an output when the detected current of the transformer 9 becomes higher than a predetermined value. An interrupter 4 is operated by the output signal from the detector 10 to thus separate the inverter 1 from a load bus line 5. Thus, the accident of a shortcircuit of the condenser 3 for the filter can be effectively and rapidly detected, the inverter 1 is separated from the load for a short time, and stable current can be applied to the load without adversely influencing the other undamaged circuits.
