On the other hand, the amplitude of the load current is detected from one of the CT1-CT3, and input to a holding circuit HS. When the circuit HS detects the abrupt increase of the load current, the relay Ry is deenergized irrespective of the output signal of the GR. Thus, even if the GR erroneously judges when the load current abruptly increases, the relay Ry is disabled.
